XR vs nonXR bead lock rings

So I was reading on a FB post that the 392 has a different ring for the XR wheel compared to the standard or non XR wheel.

As I count the bolts there is a definite difference. The nonXR has 24 bolts on the circle and the XR has 25 bolts on the circle. The XR rim looks like the original black mopar bead lock that has been for sale for a long time. And that rim has a polished aluminum Beadlock ring with 25 bolts on the circle.

Can anyone confirm if the polished aluminum old style 25 bolts ring will work on the XR rim or does mopar have a ring in black for the XR rim that matches the 25 bolt decorative ring?

I did not count the bolts but I can confirm there are twice as many threaded bolt holes in the wheel than there are in the decorative ring on 392 wheels.

You are correct. The decorative ring on the non XR wheel has only 12 bolts. The beadlock ring for the nonXR rim has 24 bolts.

I did get confirmation from Scott Blum who is in the know with Jeep and he said there is a difference and the XR ring has 25 bolts. It is a painted finish and would have to be painted if you buy them. It is part number P5160154. This is one Mopar has had for awhile so it’s not new to the 392. But it’s not black like the decorative trim ring that comes from the factory. At least it allows you to color code to the body if you want to.

Yes. The part you have is not for the XR.

Yes and I have reduced the price.

The non-XR beadlock rings are more expensive as they also have a scallop machined into them whereas the XR rings are less expensive since they are just a plain ring.
