I have a 2022 and when it sits for a week or so it won't start right away. I push the start button several times (4-6) and nothing happens. Finally it will fire up. There is no slow crank, no clicking like a low battery. If I drive every day or few days it starts up with no issues. I was able to video it and brought the video to the dealer, emailed it to them too. They have had the vehicle for a few days and are saying it starts up every time, no issue.. Battery and charging system check out fine. Anyone ever hear of something like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nothing more fun than chasing intermittent electrical issues.

Just to clarify, i did search the forums and low battery was the only idea that came up, but dealer says its fine.
Thank you.

I suspect that after sitting for an extended period one of the computer modules responsible for something in the remote start chain of events has gone to sleep... requiring some other trigger or delay of it to wake up, and perform the remote start.

I appreciate the answer. I have not actually tried the remote start, this has always been using the start button in the vehicle. Not sure if it makes a difference.

Sounds like gasoline not staying in the fuel lines and this can be a sign of a small leak, or the fuel pump not able to maintain pressure. After it sits for a while, push the start button 3 to 4 times without starting the engine, then start it (depressing the brake pedal while pressing the start button).

The dealer can test for drop in fuel line pressure. Usually there is no warning/engine light for this problem. At least not in older vehicles, idk if our 392 has sensors for that.

The issue is your brake pedal safety switch. Either it is not sensitive enough or you are not depressing the brake pedal enough. Brake pedal is very firm after sitting for a few days, need to press harder…

My bad... For some reason I had in my head that it was remote start... never mine then. It looks like others suspect the brake switch. I never let mine sit long enough for that to be a problem... Good luck.

I appreciate the help. I sent both possible issues to the dealer, I will post know what they tell me.
Thank you gain for the help.
