This , I'm definitely upgrading mine to TF for same reason.I had the TF carrier, mount, and license plate relocate kit. Worked great with no complaints, had 38 and 40 inch tires without any rattling. What made me choose that kit was the ability to use it with different offset wheels to snug it up to the carrier.
Adjustability includes up/down and the depth for offset on wheels and tire thickness.
If you’re going to change out the stock rear bumper there are some great carrier options to get that heavy spare of your tailgate. Just a small regret for me stock bumper looks good but lacks strength and is easy pushed in to the Jeep tub.this hasn’t happened to me yet but I’ve seen it happen to others.Debating between 38 12.5 and 38 13.5 (3" lift going in soon)

True, however you can replace the cheap stamped brackets with Meatalcloak brace pair. This is great to know, previous rigs was on a bunch of MC components and didn't even realize this. Current rig isn't ready for a rear bumper as it's still farther down the list of endless $$.True, however you can replace the cheap stamped brackets with Meatalcloak brace pair. Works for me.
