2021 Rubicon 392!
In my series of Dumb Questions Of The Day™. I see pictures of new jeeps from the dealers here with front plates but mine didn't come with a bracket. Quadratec only seems to have a quick-remove mount for $90 bucks which I don't want. I think I found one on the Mopar site but can't tell if it's the right fit. (Also they don't even list the 392 yet as option on the site?)

As a "Rubicon" my past Jeeps have all come with one. Anyone on this forum in a state that doesn't require front plates willing to give one up to @chillbot if they did come with the 392?
That would definitely be handy... if anyone has one they're not going to use I'll cover shipping and figure out some way to return the favor!

I'm sure had I bought one in CA it would have come with a bracket, oh well.

Nevermind I found a cheap one on Amazon and thanks to the wonders of Amazon can get it delivered tomorrow so I'll try that first.

Here's the one I got. Expensive but well-made and looks great.

I actually came on tonight to see if anyone has info on how to attach the license plate mount. Ours came w/ one but no directions… 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🤦🏼‍♀️ - looks like self tapping screws? Hate to screw it up - nota on google for the 392 & nothing in the manual.

There should be little indentations in the plastic fascia. The screws with the mopar plate holder (if the dealer gave it to you) are self tapping. Can’t recall where the indentations are exactly, but I vaguely remember them being in the plastic winch access cover.

I’ll look - ty.

check the trunk area, mine was in the side window bag.. so could be anywhere but very easy to install with the screws provided and indentations..

TY - I have the materials, just not sure how to install. There are not directions included… Yukon…. Shared to look for the indentations in the winch plate. Of course that’s where it goes but wasn’t sure if we’d take that plate off and there’s something under it or HOW to attach it. I’ll look for the indentations this morning. TY so much…

yes pull that cover and then there is another piece of plastic with screws for the plate

Confused… seems the indentations are IN that cover - not that you take the cover off. My understanding (could be wrong) is that the cover comes off for a wench but the plate goes ON the cover (unless you have a wench). Ty for helping

Yup, got the screws and plate cover. Looked this morning - see the little indentations for the screws. TY for helping. DIRECTIONS would have been SO HELPFUL w/ the materials.

Are you running a winch in the front bumper?
