So here in Texas, and annual “get drunk and act stupid” tradition where anything 4x4 cruises the beach at Galveston was underway this past weekend.
‘Problem is, it’s been dubbed “Jeep Beach Week” and that’s the moniker that the media loves.
One small problem: look at the footage and the images the media ran with. Jeeps are but a very small number…

I remember reading about something similar to this last year in TX. Maybe it was the same event? I would assume this would be shut down next year?

Gotta love the press. I guess Jeep Beach Week sounds juicier than "Random Off Road Vehicle Week"
The off road version of a Street Takeover. Being jammed in a drunken crowd on a beach seems the polar opposite of what I believe most of us are about.

In this day and age I avoid large gatherings and much prefer smaller group events where I can actually talk to civilized folks. A few drinks with cool folks...great. Toga, Toga, Toga mindset and raging hangovers...nah.

But...I'm older now
