I recognize most of the extra's in the big plastic bag that was in the back of my Jeep at delivery, and the bags for the rear windows from my Sky Roof are obvious. I'm wondering about three items:
-Orange plastic plate, about 6x6 inches
-Black plastic rectanular plate with and open center and a picture of tools on the back molded in.
- Where is the jack height extension? There is no way the jack will reach to the frame to change a tire..
Thanks for your help

-Jack spacer
-without picture not exactly sure but probably the cover for safety sensors that would be left exposed if windshield folded down
-see above

Makes sense on the safety sensor. Thanks

I guess I will have to look. But why does the jack have to reach the frame to change a flat?

Maybe it doesn't. I guess with solid axles it doesn't have to. With the 35's, it seems too small. Didn't want to find out I needed a spacer if I get a flat. I thought there might be one hidden somewhere.

If you have an XR, it’s supposed to come with a jack spacer. It’s an orange colored square of plastic.

Yep, its the orange plastic pice questioned in post #1.

If not, there is a video out there of someone taking the sky top off. It’s obviously more painful than the normal freedom top but not totally awful.

found it

Will the windshield fold down with the Skytop?
Be careful. Owners manual recommends against folding down the windshield if you have the sky one-touch roof. From the manual:

“CAUTION:
Lowering of the windshield is NOT recommended in vehicles equipped with a Power Sliding Top. Damage will occur to the top as well as the header seal.”

The rubber seals and gaskets they put around the body of Jeep appear to be very cheap, flimsy and not made for longevity. I wouldn’t tempt fate.
