What radar detector are you using?

I have an older valentine, one that I use and my daily driver sedan. I don't have one in my jeep as I just don't drive it as fast as I drive the car usually. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have one in each.

Be careful about mounting on the windshield, several states do not allow that.

…likely the same states outlawing ICE engines and nuclear power. i’ll stay clear :ROFLMAO:

I’ve got an older escort max 360 with Bluetooth that has saved my ass more than a few times in many vehicles

Even with RD and Waze, I avoid speeding through towns. Too dangerous plus police do not need radar to know you are speeding in their town.

I broke down and bought a Valentine after getting pulled over twice and just receiving warnings. Thanos is going to put me in the pokey.

Went old school and just clipped it to the visor. Intro beeps take me back.

If you haven’t yet… check out V1 Driver app to go alone with new Bluetooth Valentine. Many options, connects to factory speakers.

K40 with jammers! The only one to buy

as a chronic high speeder, my 392 has my oldest Valentine since 80 is about it; the newest Vals are in the ferraris and RS6, but in the era of instant on you must identify oncoming [not relevant at 392 speed]

I went from multiple citations a year to 0 with Valentine 1. Still useful with a 392, a lot of speed traps out this direction and this tags them from a mile away.

How are you all mounting these radar sectors in the Jeep since the windshield is about vertical and the suction cup mount for my Valentine 1 won't work. I saw the mount to the rear view miser stem on a older post but I am not good at taking apart plastic thing and tapping into vehicle wiring for power...LOL

I have an escort and I mount it on the windshield level with the dash so it's not up high.

Valentine One, latest version and Bluetooth to iPhone to V1Driver app.
Crazy how things have changed with radar detectors. So much customization using app.
When phone is Bluetooth connected to Uconnect, you can set audio from radar to play through speakers. Filter/Mute annoying frequencies that you know are not police. Mark/Mute known trouble areas, by tapping phone screen. Ect…
Same here. Use it for the 392 and my R1250GSA through my Helmut.

What stubby looking bar is that screwed into the rear mirror mount? It's hard to tell in the pic but it looks clean.

I do not want to hard wire. I move the doctor between other vehicles plus I am not good at prying plastic apart and slicing into wiring.

Exactly. What mount is that?
I would use it for a dash cam... Since my wife is the primary driver. Her "white" coat acts as a ticket prevention system, so I won't need a radar in the 392.

Thanks! It's a hard plastic spacer from my TV mounting kit. Drilled a hole in the mirror mount and used a low profile bolt/nut, hasn't moved since. I hardwired both the jeep (original cradle) and motorcycle (RAM magnet mount) as I don't like wires everywhere...just move the RD back and forth.

Brilliant Idea. I must have 2 or 3 dozen of those spacers around!
