Jeep392

Bought my first Jeep a year ago yesterday, 2021 JLU sport and immediately fell in love with the Wrangler and the Jeep brand. Less than 4 months and 5,000 miles later I placed my order for my 2022 392 XR. In June I took delivery of the 392 and traded in the sport and never looked back. I’m now a Jeeper for life, and we’re definitely now a Jeep family. My 7 year old daughter thinks her first car is going to be my 392 🤣. In the pic below my 392 is on the left and old sport on the right the day I traded it in.

Longtime Mopar guy… first Jeep is this one. I guess starting out with a 392 isn’t the worst way to start out with Jeep. No looking back now, I flat out love this thing.

I’ve had a slew of Ram trucks over the years including the Ram 1500 SRT10 and my last was a 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. I like this Jeep better than either one of those rigs…. It’s just more fun to drive.

You won 🏆
Thats some serious brand support.

1) 2014 JKU Sport
2) 2020 JLU Sahara

I had a 1994 Cherokee Sport. Loved the 4.0L. That thing was just unstoppable, until it would leave an impressionist art work of rust dropping every time I slammed the door. I still loved it when it was towed away that last time. Great, great fun. Drove it for its last 40k, hard miles and almost made it to 200k.

My next Jeep was the 392XR and I bought it without ever even test driving a Wrangler. Took a flyer on this one after 1.5 years of waiting for a Bronco Badlands Sas and knowing I needed more room for my kids who are growing like weeds.

The Jeep arrived and won all of our hearts. This thing is just so much fun I can’t believe it. 4K miles later, I still love it every time I jump in.

Now I have a tough call, as the Bronco (since upgraded to a Raptor) is actually arriving in a bit over a week, and I really only have room for one big, crazy expensive SUV in the garage…. Should be a fun personal test drive in October!

Wow! You win before this thread even gets going. 😂

I’ve owned 5…

1973 CJ5
1985 CJ7
1999 Grand Cherokee
2018 JLUR
2021 392

Totaled the CJ5 in a serious multiple roll accident (I was 16) and walked away unhurt. 🙏🏼

Lots of adventures in that CJ7, from the Colorado Rockies to beaches in Mexico. Fun times!

The Grand Cherokee was the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. In 10 years and 90k+ miles, the only repair needed was a rear power window motor.

Loved my 2018 JLUR and would still be driving it…but…had to have a 392! 😁

2005 TJ that I sold to my buddy
2006 LJR that I don't ever plan to sell

Nice, couple Jeep’s I always wanted over the years a cJ3b, CJ6 LJR. Congratulations on your LJR as they make a great trail rig.
when I bought my TJ Rubicon in January 2003 the LJ was rumored at that point.. of course Jeep said the Rubicon was going to be limited production. I could have waited for the LJ a year and didn’t, which motived me for the 392. I watched the live release of the 392 knowing I wanted one.. With some dealerships gouging customers $10-20K just to order a 392 saying they’re preventing me from buying one and reselling it..
As it turns out I’m glad I waited getting a 22 XR with steel oil pan.
When I got the 05 TJ I swore I would never sell it. Then I decided I needed an LJ and looked for well over a year and a half for the right one. Rubicon was a bonus.

My 392 was one of the last 21's so the steel oil pan also.

My LJR with my old TJ.
