What did you do to your Jeep 392 today? 🛠️

I like where you mounted your Element fire extinguisher. Mine came with two clips. Do you have a link for the Maglight mount?
Here’s the link for the Quadratec Mount:

or for a few dollars less, you could go with this mount (same design, different company):

This is where I mounted my ELEMENT FIre Extinguisher in my other vehicle.

After 3 weeks I finally got my badges in from the dealer (didn't notify me they had been in 2.5 weeks), and got those put on along with my steps. So far the wheels and tires work for me. I just wanted a little decor. Clean, subtle, but meaningful.View attachment 1149View attachment 1151View attachment 1152View attachment 1153View attachment 1154
Interesting....I'm not a fan of the gold accents at all and am thinking of de badging when I get it. They will know what engine is in it soon enough.

Chopped the fenders this week. I went with American Adventure Labs high line fender brackets and their inner fenders. I had them powder coat the brackets red and the inner fenders black satin. I also ordered all of the hardware black. They look really clean and almost stock from a distance. I’ll post some before and after pics. For reference I have 37x13.5x20 wheels. No additional lift…yet. Have to use inner fenders for the Diesel engine btw

Yeah it's all personal preference, but mine didn't get attention until I put those badges on. Now I get asked at stations and parking lots, get followed by teens, or get thumbs up at red lights around town by other drivers.

How do you like the Teraflex 1.5" with this set up? I've been researching and will eventually do CA's, springs, shocks, etc. Just looking for something to provide clearance for 3's till I figure out which lift I am going with.

This is the route I am going until I do a full game changer lift. So far so good. Everything looks proportional in my opinion. The stabilizer and trackbars have really helped complete it for now

Well waited since June for my Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T in 37's and had go get the KMC Technic in gold. So they were Powder coated forged Charcoal and center caps in satin black. Getting closer to my vision.

So today driving back from getting super octane from Costco in phx a car made a last minute right hand turn. Nothing out if the normal for this area. Well before I hit the brakes the 392 did it FOR ME. Engine cut way back and felt like it tool full control over the vehicle. Aint never happened before and just seeing if anyone else has had this happen? Not crazy as this really occurred about 15 mins ago.

Yeah, happened to me a few months ago. Just part of the safety controls.

Ok well it was not safe in what it did to me and could have caused the guy behind me to crash into me. So tech is not good if I get rear ended due to this so called feature. Imho again how do we turn this off hoping there is a way other than tearing it down and rebuilding with a carb. But that might be fun come to think of it. EPA be damned.

It's happened to me but makes a awful sound and started to break for me but I did it about same time. Probably some driver assistance shit. Has to be a way in settings to turn it off. Ask Scott Blum in the FB 392 page. He works for Corp. I think he wrote the manual lol
