What did you do to your Jeep 392 today? šŸ› ļø

Finally got my CB antenna mount built. It is built to fit the 4 holes on the back of the Teraflex tailgate reinforcement. Keeps the base of the antenna and coax cable out of sight but a large hole in the back makes it easy to access. Still need to unbolt the tailgate to run the coax into the cab but it was getting late and I figured Iā€™d stop while I was ahead.

Nice work, especially like the RSE plates, I'll take 2 please.

if I had better equipment (press break, cnc plasma table) that wouldnā€™t be a problem. I have a big ass vice and a hammer to match. šŸ˜ hoping to upgrade my fabricating abilities next summer.

Itā€™s been a few weeks since I put on the Brand motion fullvue camera for JL/JT. Itā€™s a full time rear facing camera to regain visibility out the rear of the jeep. It also has a forward facing dash cam built in.
It has a special mirror mount and spare tire carrier for the wrangler. I opted to mount it on top of my Aev tire carrier.

Drove 1400 miles in 19.5 hours (try doing that in an EV! šŸ¤£) and averaged 15.1 mpg with the 35" Falken Wildpeaks. Thought the gas mileage was pretty good for a heavy mix of 80-85 interstate with some 70-75 state highway. It definitely could benefit from a 25gal tank though instead of the 21gal for marathon road tripping.

Installed the step rails today

No longer a pavement princess! Nothing crazy. Just Fins & Things and Hellā€™s Revenge.

Compared to wheeling my other JLsā€¦ torque made up for the 2.72 4L but the steering was much heavier.

I plan to go there this year. Do you think Iā€™ll be fine with the stock XR tires on Fins & Things? Assuming no belly skids. And will have my little kids in back.

Youā€™ll be fine running stock on Fins & Things and Hellā€™s Revenge (avoiding the optional obstacles). Theyā€™re right next to each other and took us a leisurely six hours.

I let my adult kids with zero wheeling experience run both trails. No worse for wear.

Thanks a lot for the insights! That gives me some very positive vibes!

I did it last year in a rental JLUR on 35's. I did have to lock the rear at one point but it was very doable. Tire pressure was probably 25 also.

Finally got the Innov8ā€™s and 37 Nittosā€™s installed!

Mounted my Pro Eagle 3 ton I had kept from my Raptor. Was able to use one of the OEM cargo tie down holes and created another. Can remove mount and all in about 5 minutes if needed. Also loosened and torqued the lugs and dropped the tire pressure from 36 to 32. I also removed the factory ā€œJackā€ and used that space to store my torque wrench, socket, extension, patch and plug kits and other associated tools.

paint matched door handles and tailgate handle from Applied Distinction. Suns not out here but they look great. Super easy mod that can be done while your wife/husband/whatever goes to the store for milk and bread. They came very well packaged, no chips, very nice product. Pricey but these take some work.

I took off the 10 bolt rings on my stock wheels. I was going to get 38ā€ Nitto RG but decided to wait last second.
I noticed the date stamp on the backs of June 25 2022. I ordered on 7/14 and just received it 3/4/23.
