Thanks for having me on the Forum. I am a USAF member who has a 2012 JKU Sahara and 1978 CJ5. I realized that after my divorce I needed to build my credit back by financing something. I am finally in a place where I can afford to buy a vehicle. I was considering a V8 swap in my JKU but decided it was about the same cost for a 392. So, I ordered my JLU XR in August. Called the dealership today to get an update. I found out my 392 has been pushed back because it is going to be a 2022 model. I did get a VIN so I can track it now. My CJ is in the garage right now getting the engine rebuilt. She should be done in a few weeks. I cannot wait to have two V8 Jeeps in the driveway.

I certainly appears to me its the XR package that pushed your jeep to 2022. I ordered without XR Oct 6 and am still on track for a 2021

Welcome Spartan! I am an USAF vet who has two V8 Jeeps in my driveway and I honestly could not think of any other vehicles I would prefer. Glad to hear you are recovering from the divorce, I too have been through that. Hang in there, there is no therapy like Jeep therapy! I just received my 392XR on 10/30 and let me tell you, the wait sucks, but totally worth it. Keep us posted on the CJ build!

Here's a picture of my "project" Jeep.

How do you track it?
