Front end acted funny in tight turns, threw a code, service 4wd, and now warranty has taken her off the road. I did the right thing, put her on a trailer, took her in to the dealer, and a code they had never seen before, transfer motor fault. New electrical stuff so I don’t even know how it works, but some sort of electrical component for transfer engagement. Part not available, now shes stuck at the service department, waiting. Anyone else had this problem?

BTW: VOR is the code used for a vehicle sidelined to expedite a part order.

This is a new one....

Man, I feel for ‘ya. Hope it’s a quick fix!

Not sure, I’ll get it and let you know.

I got same issue. Serv 4wd, taking to dealer tomorrow. If shut engine off and restart, gone, sit in parking lot in Park and it will reappear within 5 min.

Still waiting on the part, supposed to be here the 24th. I sure hope so.

Looks like mine is a repeat of your issue. Sway Bar Link fuse Blown and Serv 4wd message.

Took to the dealer today to check it out. Dealer says the vehicle cannot be driven and will more than likely be weeks before a resolution is found. They are contacting engineering. There was something like 12 codes thrown in computer. None of them they had ever seen before.

To top it off, no loaners avail and if you want a rental, take it up with Chrysler. They said, "We've had loaners out so long, they are coming back for oil changes!"

Contacted my buddy who is a dealer, where I got my 392, he gave me the FCA number and I called them. They said keep your receipt for the rental. Thanks so much for buying a Jeep!

The 24th has past and still no part, now they're saying Monday the 28th. If I had known it would be like this I would have brought her home until the part came in. I could have polished and modded while she was parked in the meantime.

Service shop called me today and is telling me that Pedal Commander is the problem. Told me to take it off or void the warranty.

Meanwhile, they found damaged wire harness too close to manifold causing Sway Bar Link fuse to blow and performed a bulletin repair on Serv 4wd issue.

Time to find another service shop. Way too much drama for me. Its BS, virtually every Jeep is modded in some way. EVERYTHING mechanical on my 392 is stock except the Pedal Commander.

At least I got my ride back and cancelled my rental I had reserved.

Uh oh, just threw SERV 4WD light and front end acting funny in tight turns. Sounds like I'm headed to the dealer ASAP. Man I hope they don't have an insane wait time on parts... 😭

Transfer case motor, happened to me. I had to wait but that was a year ago, hopefully better now.

Seems like too many of this issue. Getting anxious about giving up my perfect no issues since new 2016 JKUR.
Is there a thread on this forum where people post about never having any issues?

Had transfer case motor replaced. No change. Now engineering wants them to overlay the wire harness from front to rear of drivetrain. Mine has been an issue now since 1800miles. Ive got 20k on now, drive every day. Just cant sit in a line at McD’s or anything cause it will throw Serv 4WD light. I have to shift to park, turn vehicle off, open the door, close the door, restart and light is gone.

If they have no issues they won't complain about nothing! My 392 arrived at the dealer exactly one year ago today, I have 5200 miles on it and absolutely no issues.

I feel like everything manufactured since the Covid-19 & following supply chain issues(which is just manufacturing of the various parts) has suffered in either quality or reliability to some degree.
