Tuffy 348-01

Hi All,

Ordered a Tuffy 348-01 for the center console, which I understand works with a JL. However, not quite fitting in the 392. I have watched several videos. Has anyone installed in the 392. Is there a difference from a normal Ruicon?

You need to get the smaller side brackets from tuffy. A phone call and they ship them out to you for free of charge, The console for the 392 is shallower due to the all wheel drive . the space once the tuffy is installed is very shallow so dont expect to store much in the center console,

I got this installed yesterday. It was a very tight space to work in. I did notice that there was some vertical play between when the feet of the braces were touching the bottom of the console space. If I pulled up on the assembly, it lifted maybe 3/16"-1/4". I knew that kind of play would drive me nuts over bumps, but probably didn't affect the security of the product.

Solution: I cut up a neoprene beer cozy and forced folded strips under the feet of the brackets until the whole assembly didn't move up and down anymore. All of this is hidden as the original rubber mat is on top of the feet.
