Has anyone been successful at using this for the purchase of the 392 Rubicon?

Once you get your package from Tread Lightly, you can enroll in the FCA Affiliate Rewards program. You get a control number you can use at the time of purchase for an invoice 1% discount. When you go to the FCA Affiliate Rewards website and look for dealers, it tells you which dealers have honored the discount in the past and how many times they've done it. The dealer I am purchasing from, has honored it twice before.

No dealer I was dealing with would except it.Said not on 392
Did you bring your letter and control number with you? Some dealers may think this is a discount without any benefit to them. FCA reimburses the dealer at a higher rate, so it benefits the dealer to give you 1% off invoice. At least that's my understanding. I will bring it with me when my Jeep arrives at the dealer just in case.

They gave me a 1000 off msrp anyways .We’re that would have been what maybe 500
I see. It would be $930 discount in my case. It is 1% off invoice. Even if it was from MSRP, it would be about $750.

On an 83k car lol
In that case it would be $830 and you are right, my MSRP is $83K. Lol. I was thinking MSRP on the starting price of $74,500, then the discount would be about $750...$745 to be exact.

Yeah but you had a Ford raptor, I'm trading in a 2017 wrangler rubicon recon edition which is junk in comparison if I'm being fully honest lol

For my own sanity I've made a July 1st cutoff...if the jeep 392 isn't in my hands before or by then, whatever I aint getting it then...let me add another unknown to my life will I get the car before 2021 is over or not lol and oh well I lose my deposit money and a gladiator in the process, so be it man so be it...hahahahaha

The way I see it is that I prefer that $1k in my pocket over in the dealer's pocket.

Right I totally agree but at the same time money is semi irrelevant...but thats all about being American to me...two different people from two totally different life experiences can have two totally different perspectives on the same issue or idea at hand...most people who don't love jeeps would call every one of us crazy paying 80k for a jeep, that's why I joined this forum, fellow passionate jeepers who spend wreckless money on their pride and joys!

Not sure the above is really true. Did you get the info from the POC? I'm getting FCA pricing and the dealer gave me the full POC. The MSRP on my 392 is $78,860 and the FFP (affiliate reward pricing) is $73,705. All this info is on the full POC (Priced Order Confirmation) printout. Not a bad discount ($5155), IMO. I only have an assigned VIN and this will all be confirmed or denied when I finally walk into the dealership to pay - but this is what I'm told I'm getting as of now.

You mean like what the dealer pays jeep right and how much they technically make? Let me walk you through the configuration preview they gave me a copy of...
Msrp 73,500 fwp 69390
Paint color msrp 245 fwp 220
Off road camera msrp 595 fwp 536
Sky touch one top msrp 2k fwp 1800
Trailer tow package msrp 350 fwp 316
Plus destination fee of 1495 msrp fwp 1495
So that totals to 78,185 msrp which matches jeep.com and then fwp totals 73,766

But a dealer showed me the real key on these price breakdowns...

A little section called hb or dealer hold back listed at 2,301 dollars...ffp is 73103, but ep is 70278...meaning the dealer only pays the ep...70278 on a car at msrp of 78175, lesson I always learn is they the house casino and never really lose ever, just about how greedy they want to or need to be at the time I come around lol

Anything less than msrp seems to be a steal currently on this car is what it all really means to me lol

You got an awesome deal and I'm jealous more dealers can't just be forthcoming and cut us all a deal and make the whole process easier, I legit hate buying cars but love owning them lol

Thanks for the data, I'm going to try the Affiliate Reward Pricing with my dealer on my 392 expected in a few weeks. Will check back in post purchase to let you know if it works and if so how much, if any $$$ saved.

Update: The dealer I purchased my 392 from would not accept the Affiliate Reward Pricing: I paid MSRP and am cool with that. Full MSRP with no mark-up was the "Gentlemen's Agreement" I made with the dealer and they kept their word so I did the same.

This is not honored on specialty vehicles which this would be. That being said, if you have found a dealer that would be willing to, jump on it!
