Been having issues with my transmission for the past week or so. I get a check engine light and every once in a while upon start up reverse gear won't engage until a restart and/or reset trouble codes. Other than that Jeep seems to drive fine with no apparent slipping or shifting issues.

The code I get is P075B-00 'Shift Solenoid G performance/ stuck off'. I remember this code from just over a year ago when I had the same issue and dealer replaced the whole transmission assembly for me under warranty. I'm out of warranty now and looking to see if there are any options to beef up the transmission so it lasts more than a year each time

Found a couple of things on Google that look like they might do the trick -

I've found a couple of shops here locally who can do the transmission rebuild if I get them the kit

Wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this kind of thing and if you could make any recommendations or point me in the right direction

Interesting. A couple of thoughts to consider.
1. Since you had issues during the warranty that they tried to fix but still doesn't work outside the warranty. I think it still counts as being under warranty.
2. Maybe it's the TCM with the issue.
3. 392 trans come from Germany. While other Jeeps have the same trans but built in the US. So, make sure you don't swap out your trans for a US made one.
