392 Jeep Wrangler- Tuned on e85 lifted on 40s
Ive read a lot about this upgrade for those who don't want to spend $5000 plus for the Atlas TC ... I was quoted $2000 to have mine rebuilt using the back half of the sport case and internals. Will it hold up...? I have no idea however my Jeep will be a great test vehicle. Its already on 40s and tuned to run on e85. For those that haven't experienced the transfer case issue - mine started one day after I pulled into my driveway I could hardly turn my wheel. I shut it down and when I restarted it you could feel the jeep get back into gear and unbind. The problem persisted I knew there had to be a better more affordable solution. Jeep goes in this week, I will post a final review.

Sinister looking rig, love it.

Great looking rig. I'm not a fan of mixing components or reusing parts. The cost is significant but the Atlas TC is dialed in and peace of mind comes at a cost.

I’m not a fan of mixing components however this sport case swap came out very well. I am very happy with the end result. My transfer case had a broken plastic inlet for the clutch. Total cost for everything including installation was only $1600. They said it would handle the power from a 426 Hemi swap.. my 392 is tuned and runs on e85 and makes good power. Time will tell but so far it’s just what I had hoped for.
