Never heard of such. Sounds cool though. Pretty sure the Wrangler does not monitor trailer tire pressure. Also seems like would be PIA to install into trailer tires.I had opted for the tow package with my 392 order. Is a set of TPMS included ? Where do I find them if they are include?
With my TRX order I received a set of 4 (they were in the glove box) if the order had the tow package optioned.
Is the brake controller wiring still under the drivers side dash on the 392? Does it require an adapter cable or is that Mopar controller plug and play?
This is a cool brake controller that replaces the 12v power outlet and looks oem. Pretty easy install. I have not tested it with our camper yet, but seems preferable to aftermarket controllers.
If your jeep came with the tow package, you don't need the additional cable (sounds like you are good). If you add tow package after purchase, then you have to buy an extra cable. Is the brake controller wiring still under the drivers side dash on the 392? that sounds interesting. Are there any installation guides on-line? or any videos available? If your jeep came with the tow package, you don't need the additional cable (sounds like you are good). If you add tow package after purchase, then you have to buy an extra cable.
I had tow package and mine was completely plug and play. Just have to pull some panels off to get access to do the wiring, but was not bad at all. All of the wiring is completed under the driver dash area. Other than having to pull off dash pieces in the middle to get rid of 12v socket and replace it with the controller knob.
I had a time with the 12v socket even with the removal tool. I ended up destroying it to get it out, but that's ok because none of it is reused.
