I’m about to pull the trigger on the top lift pro, but I’m not sure if the XR package makes the 14” inserts necessary. Does anyone know? I reached out to them but got no help on it

I am considering the same and just measured it; 70.5 inches to the molding so it seems like it is under but i'm sure the extensions won't hurt.

I have a toplift pro with an XR. Not sure what you are talking about with the extensions. I just used it straight out of the box. If you are talking about the extenders that go in to make it reach deeper in to the roof (towards front of car)? Those are not necessary. probably would add some stability but its very stable without them.

Thank you! I ended up going with the standard one and it’s already slated to be delivered Monday

You are talking about the hard top right? All JLU have a compatible hard top, sport, rubicon, 392, XR etc etc etc. XR is bigger wheels and gears.

I have the XR package and ordered the TLP with the extensions based on the recommendation of their customer service help. Husband put the TLP together and didn’t know what those were so didn’t put them on.
You don’t need them. Works just fine without.
