Thread mount Uniden R8

Thinking of buying a Uniden R8 but I'd be looking to mount it near the dash using the threaded mount. Has anyone found a good product for this that's not some generic phone holder?

On my TRX I mounted the R8 with a blendmount. to the rearview mirror. Works great. We will probably do the same if it is possible in a JL when my wife's 392 arrives.

I'm considering this mag mount from bulletpoint (or 67 designs) for my 392. I usually mount my R8 via suction cup at top of windsheild to the left of rear view mirror. With in reason, the higher the better, since the R8 looks forward and backward for signals.

I just saw this as another option...
I might go this route...
