This is the result of not having either.
The cracked oil pan resulted in flowing downstream, into a creek where an endangered species of trout live & spawn.
Horrible? No. And debatable by some…
But the forest service is considering closing the trail, due to a couple of “insert your preferred verbiage here”.
If you come to Colorado, have your rig and your skill ready, or stay out.
