I had previously found a post that showed a pic of someone’s 392 with a saaaawwweeettt matching winch hook doohickey. It kills me that I never bookmarked it, but dang I want one. Anybody got any killer tips on adding a winch strictly for aesthetic purposes? :)

Factor 55 might be what you're looking for (for the color-coordinating)

You'll need a winch, winch plate (or new steel winch capable bumper), and fairlead in addition to your winch hook doohickey of choice. Additionally, you'll need some tools, probably a second pair of hands, and a basic understanding of automotive wiring if you plan to install yourself.

As for adding 100+lbs of weight and spending likely over a grand just for aesthetics... well, to each their own. :ROFLMAO:

Here's my Warn 10s with a Factor 55 hook and fair lead. Fairly popular setup and don't worry about the aesthetic purpose, most of the winches I've seen have seen few or zero uses They do look cool. Winch about $900, fair lead about $90, hook about $260. They have multiple colors to choose from.

Thanks @JD37064. Looks great! That hook is like the one I saw someone post but it was color matched to the bronze 392 trim. I’m guessing they had it powder coated.

Got mine from Maximus-3

@BenLandry are you running the Fuel bronze wheels? I think we are running the same ones and I’m curious how close the color match is.

Yea, it looks like they are super close color wise. I googled that hook and can’t find it but I’ll have to search it more.

The hook is a shade or 2 lighter, but darker then the tow hooks. I’m between I’d say. I’ll send a pic of them together.

I’m having trouble finding them online, not available at Maximus-3 anymore. A suggestion I do have about installing a winch is the Maximus 3 filler plates. Absolutely cleans up the install.

For sure you are thinking of the factor 55.

If you are serious I have something that might be of interest.

A nused winch plate, the other three pieces you will want/need

and a Warn 8k for $450

PM me if interested
