A buddy of mine recently got this for his 9mm and loves it.

Interesting concept. I'm assuming, let's say for handgun practice, you need to rack the slide between shots. Any issues with the laser device wanting to move in the chamber (i.e. fall out)? It looks like it maybe has some little O-rings on it that would keep it in place?

A buddy of mine recently got this for his 9mm and loves it.

It is cool.
teaching my lady friend how to clear rooms, I set up a few cubes, walk her through, then put her back in the room, and reposition and have her sweep the house.

It’s more effective than nothing. And she loves it!
I mess around with it, but I prefer live fire exercises.

It’s manageable. What you ask about, has been my one gripe.
it’s better with a revolver, or double action auto. Not so much fun with a single action.
I’ll run it with the 38 or P90 instead of the glocks.
Haven’t investigated anything to run it with the SBR yet.

That Ruger MK IV is sweet. I have a browning set up similarly. Do you shoot steel challenge with it, perfect setup? I've always thought one of those shockwaves would make a perfect Jeep gun. I might get one now that they have the short shell version with more capacity for more rounds.

Its not as fast as I like but one fits perfectly in the zippered pocket in the front of my Bartac seat covers (in my LJR).

The shockwave I love. I have 2. The 12 and the 20. I prefer the 12. The lady wanted the 20.
Just picked up a keltec KSG last summer as well. I wish that came in semi auto.
I haven’t done any competitions in a long time. I’m at that point where I’ve been shooting for almost 45 years, been there, done that, and now I just enjoy plinking, building and collecting.
For a period of time I was entering competitive shooting events. I did well, but never went pro and eventually moved onto other things. 🤓

Once you SBR, you can never back to 16". Pin and welded is ok, but I like shorties. I've done a few factory SBR's, but did more on my own. Getting them engraved, filing all the paperwork. Its easy. The shotgun was cheap, $5 tax stamp for "any other weapon"
