I didn't realize how much I missed (and enjoy again) the Jeep wave. Cool to have a group of strangers waving to one another as they drive around.
I enjoy the sound this Jeep makes when I stomp on the skinny pedal so much that I'm starting feel a little guilty (not really) about the environmental impact it's making. My solution is to expand the people I wave to; all these Prius and Tesla drivers I'm waving at now must think I'm nuts, but I appreciate them offsetting my gluttonous use of fossil fuels.

I'm in LA and unless I'm in my sleepy beach town, I don't typically get waves. Around town in the South Bay (Redondo, Hermosa, Manhattan, etc) I do get lots of waves though! I've found that the more mods, the more likely to wave.

I’ve received about 10 waves since I got my 392 end of December, one guy waved at me today but I was too slow to respond and felt real guilty for not waving back. What I’ve found is that you can’t sit there and just expect everyone to wave at you. You’ll be disappointed in short order. You should initiate the wave every other time to make it fair and fun.

Always initiate! Let the other driver be “that guy” if ends up a single-sided wave!
I live in Conroe/Woodlands area in Texas. Jeeps are a dime a dozen around here, and let me tell you, there are some badass Jeeps around, plenty V8 swaps. I’d say 90% of people wave. I always do. I’ve seen at least 6-7 392s around.
