Teraflex Alpha Hd Hinged Tire Carrier and Mount

I concur completely with all the positive comments. I don't get paid by them either but their products and customer service keep me coming back Jeep after Jeep. Had the previous version of the Alpha Hinge on a '12 and '20 and now the new one on my '22 392. Couldn't be happier and TeraFlex has AWESOME customer service if you have questions or need help with any kind of issue. (3) TeraFlex lifts, Nomad wheels with auto deflators on my '20 & '22, (3) sets of TeraFlex shocks, the new TeraFlex rear bumper and more stuff I can't think of. Yeah, I guess you can figure out I really like TeraFlex.
I normally do not create posts bragging on a product, but I had to make an exception. I do not receive any money or discounts from Teraflex. I had the Mopar tailgate reinforcement with a 37x13.5 spare. Never had any issues with it, and I really thought it was pretty good. I helped a buddy of mine, who recently became a member of the 392 club, install the teraflex on his. I had to go get one. This thing is STRONG. It is like the tailgate is now attached to the carrier instead of the other way around. IMHO, this is as strong as the separate tire carriers that mounted to an after-market bumper, but without having to open two gates to access the back and needing 5 hands and arms to do so. Definitely need two people to install, but the overall process could not be any easier. I was a little hesitant that there were no rubber bumps utilized in between the spare and the carrier/body, but the adjustment feature of the mount brought the spare within a half inch of the carrier and does not move at all. Cannot say enough about how strong this thing is. Hope this helps anybody that does not have any reinforcement.

I’ve had it on my 21 for 3 years now with a 37 on it. Agree with you on quality, well built and engineered.
I took the badges off and brought them to a sign shop and they did some custom ones in gold.
Love the gold TeraFlex logos. Can you share where you got them?

The place was called Signarama in Conroe Texas
Thank you. I hate to say it but I think it sounds pretty reasonable since they had to create the artwork image, set up the machine and then cut out the logos. I realize it's all computer work but a person still has to do it and it's just one set. Would have been less if you bought multiples I'd guess. Good info and they look worth the money. Hey, it's a Jeep, it has to be expensive even if it's just cheap junk. Take care.

Over the last 3 years I’ve put 30k+ into it, a little here and there. I like custom stuff, I buy quite a bit from Distinction Applied, they aren’t cheap but they do great work. Underground Graphics is another shop I use. I’ve met the owners of both these companies and both are great hard working guys with small businesses.

I hear you. It's the little things that make it so awesome to know you did that. Looks great!
