Tazer owners.. new features including turn assist

Ford: I raise you turn assist
Jeep Aftermarket: I’ll match your turn assist

Wonder if has Jeep scratching their heads wondering “gee, think we should just program that from the factory?’

Since the video appears to not work can someone explain what is in the video?

Should work when you click on the link.
If not they're just showing some new features of the TazerJL including turn assist like the Bronco has.
Basically cycles brakes on the inside rear tire when turning full lock to slide the Jeep around corners. Makes turning much tighter

I’m thinking we would need to unplug it, connect to the laptop, jump online and get the update.
I checked their site and didn’t see anything regarding an update.

I think you are right, it should be uninstalled when updated.

Thank you
I should have been more specific.
I’m aware I need to take it out. I wish that wasn’t the case….
I’m more interested if anyone has seen a link on their web site.
I couldn’t tell if the YouTube video was a plug . Although, I didn’t watch till the end.

They haven't updated the manual as of 1/21 but the feature is there if you update.

Turn assist isn't in the menu, it is an option you can select in the button programing option. When in Tazer mode press right arrow and cruise control button you want to program and turn assist will show up as a choice.

Really interesting video - my first time looking closely into Tazer.

Super interested in the turn signal rear cam activation. I also saw the ability to toggle rear camera (and maybe front cam?) to a CC button on the steering wheel... that's rad.

Anyone have experience with these button remappings? Do you find yourself using them?

Initially I set up the system to have the rear camera come on when signalling for a turn but got tired of it coming on as often as it did so I turned the feature off. Now I use it occasionally like when in heavy multilane highway traffic.

I like trying different features of the Tazer, I actually tried that feature yesterday for the first time. Like Shortcut, I turned it off by the end of the day, it’s pretty distracting when the screen switches back and forth. Pretty cool just not for me. I did have to pull a truck and boat out of a ditch yesterday on a pretty busy road, activated a light show for safety.

I could totally see this exact same thing happening to me. I think probably better just to have a button for checking back there when needed. My jeep currently has zero cameras, but I do drive many new model year vehicles (one of my side gigs is taking photos for local porsche and audi dealers), and I sure do like having the cameras sometimes! Lots of the porsches will actually leave their front/rear cameras on in scenarios that surprise me, but are actually quite useful. Granted, this is more often so you don't scratch the paint or run over a wayward pebble :ROFLMAO: - a slightly different planet from jeep world.

Thanks for the real-world feedback. Right now I'm imagining you going to help out that truck/boat:
