Hey crew, I have a Tazer and the NoLimitz that I haven't installed yet. Regarding the Tazer, I was curious what features are your favorites. Aside from using it for the basics of changing TPMS PSI alert levels and changing tire size, what other settings/features do all of you use the most or find the most useful?

  • change Transfer Case LOW ratio with Atlas Transfer Case
  • disable front axle disconnect after installing DTCM with Atlas Transfer Case
  • Winch Mode
  • Turn Assist
  • Cooldown Mode – turn on engine fans on-demand

I need to remember turn assist. I've never tried it and it seems like it would help a lot. How do you like it?

Turn assist works great. I used to use the force 2WD after I added the FAD to the front axle. Now I have an Atlas Transfer Case but still have the FAD hooked to a toggle switch.

Have used on past rigs alternating between halogen to led, even from led back to halogen because of the way it was setup from a headlight manfacturer.

Sway bar, fad, 2wd, transfer case, gearing, disabling honks after exiting vehicle, seat belt stuff, disabling the stopping when you open a door, used in the past for front axle vs rear lockers. I'm sure theres more that I have used it for.

Seat belt dinging when passenger belt is not fastened, 4hi lockers.

Adjusted tire size for 38s
Adjusted gear ratio for 4:56
3honk kill
Turned on hood alarm
Fogs on with brights
Turn on passenger seat heater with remote start
Changed TPMS alarm low limit
Auto park disabled
3rd brake light flash
Homelink extension
I occasionally use the PIN when my doors are off and only use force 2wd to show off. I’m sure I missed something

Forgot about the 3rd brake light flash and the tpms, although would be nice to have the tpms threshold lowered past 20 something lbs.

Those of you that have turned on the passenger seat heat with remote start, do you notice when you press the button to turn it off, it doesn't always turn off? It toggles itself back on almost immediately. Takes me 2-3 times to get it to finally turn off.

I use that feature and noticed if I manually turn on the driver seat, the passenger will turn on too...same as with auto start. But it turns off as soon as I hit the button.

I haven’t noticed that. I usually do turn it off. I’ll pay more attention nextime.

This morning, I noticed if I lower mine first, to say 2, then turn off passenger it stayed off this time. Seemed to toggle itself back on if I tried turning it off first before lowering my temp. I don't know, minor complaint.

Might not get cold enough here in balmy Houston for them to turn on with fob. I’ll report back next year

That's another thing I wish we could change with the Tazer. The temperature at which all of that turns on. Factory setting is under 40 degrees Fahrenheit. No way to change it that I know of. I'd like to increase it to at least 50. If you ask my wife, 68.

No. I use this all the time and don't have issues turning it off. When are you turning it off? After the remote start, but before or after pressing the start button to turn everything on?

I could see that being an issue. It might turn it on with the remote start, then turn it back on when turning the Jeep "on".

There is also a lot going on during startup and power on from a CANbus perspective. It's possible the CANbus signals the seat to power on (IF that's even on the bus), then cycles back around to make sure it did, and if you've turned it off, it might issue the on command again...... maybe, ... sort of..... kinda. Logging the CANbus messages might reveal what is going on there.

I will pay attention next time and see if it acts up prior to pressing the START button, or after. This morning I had no issue, but I had already pressed the START button. I'll follow up.

I second this request. My garage is cold a ice but seems to be just above the temp needed to have they turn on. Minor pain but seems to be something doable.

Here's what I use/like:
  • Read/Clear DTCs (not and every day thing but very handy)
  • Fog Dropout
  • Force RWD
  • Hood Alarm
  • Pulse Brake - flash the CHMSL with brakes
  • Turn Cam - will probably turn this off. Thought it would be useful for lane changes but with the blind spot in the mirrors this is redundant and by the time the camera comes up I have already moving lanes

Got in this morning, pressed start, then turned off passenger heat and it stayed off. Must be something with the startup system.
