I'm going to keep the orignal silver plate mounted where it came from the factory. I have both versions of the "gold" data plate with part numbers ending in AA and AB in the glove box. Should they come out with an AC , AD, AE, etc., I will add those to the collection.Mine has the rare limited production launch edition in silver.
Mine is goldI’ve noticed in several videos on the 392 the info plate on the vehicles being reviewed is just the standard white JL plate. But mine is the gold color and 392 specific. Curious how many of you have your 392 and what plate is on the inside of the gate.
What recall? Thanks for posting this! I'm going into the dealer on Tuesday for a recall and will add this data plate issue to the workorder and see if I can get mine corrected under warranty.
Looks like the price of the 392 Data Plates went up. I paid $14.95 for mine and Jeep wave reimbursed me for the out of pocket expense, just had to send them copies of the receipts. Had I gone with a warranty replacement, the dealership would have kept the silver non-392 plate after removing it to return it to Jeep I suspect as objective evidence that they actually replaced it.I find it odd that the “average” JL data plate costs more than the 392 version:

I don't remember what the recall was for on the early 392s (way back in July 21) but my particular vehicle didn't have the problem that the recall was issued for. Also, I didn't have the dealer replace my data plate, bought the correct ones (AA & AB versions) which Jeep Wave reimbursed me for. What recall?

Interesting. All ‘24s have the XR package, but the plate does not indicate 35” tire…
