Anyone running the stock tires with the XR package installed any wheel spacers just was looking for a slightly more aggressive look until it’s time for something bigger 😂

From what I’m reading, it looks like Terra flex or Boros or what most people are recommending and it looks like the most common is 1.75

Before and after pictures?

Hi Ron,

I realize this is a bit later, however, I used the Grimm spacers (1.75"). The spacers were $99 for a set of 2.

As you can see, the stock tire/wheel combo sticks out past the XR flares a bit now.

I actually forgot about this thread completely.. I should’ve updated it myself because I did buy the Bora spacers and a very happy with them

What size did you go with? Trying to see is 1.25 would fit or 1.5 would fit stock 392 XR wheel 2021

1.25 is perfect, when the JL's and 392's first came out I messed with all combinations and 1.25 was my final decision

Yeah now I’m trying to decide if I want the BORA spacer 1.25 or go with new wheels with little less backspace and either 0 or -12 offset.

I’m going to be putting on the full AEV lift kit and 37’s. I want a little wider stance when I lift to for more stability.

@Argo392 I have a set of Bora 1.5 spacers that I would like to unload. I got them but never installed them because I got different wheels.

MY BAD LET ME CLARIFY- I WAS USING 1.35 AND BORAH AEV WHEELS WHICH ARE 8.5 WIDE

YOU MENTION BORA 1.5 WHEEL SPACERS WITH A 392 WHEEL.

392 WHEEL ARE NARROWER THAN THE AEV WHEEL SO THEY ARE GOING TO APPEAR TO BE SKINNIER AS YOU SEE PICTURED ON THIS THREAD.

WITH THAT BEING SAID-

I WOULD USE A 1.5 SPACER WITH A STOCK 392 WHEEL. OTHERWISE FOR SURE NOT GOING TO GET THE STANCE YOU WANT AND I AGREE WITH THAT DECISION ALSO

this is an AEV Borah Wheel, I had on my first 392 with 37x12.5x17 road and looked great

So I know stock XR wheel I have is 17x8 4.4 backspacing with +12 offset.

I found a wheel that’s 17x9, 5.5 backspacing with 0 offset.

Wondering the stance on this. Is there wheel math wizards on here lol. I think the stance would be more than I have now but not by much.

Here's a good, simple, resource 🍻

Just trying to confirm, the factory lugs should stick out past the 1.25” wheel spacer about 1/2” if I’m not mistaken. I’m assuming the pocket inside the xr wheel accepts this or did you have to trim lugs?
