Hello. Thought I would post up my 2022 Stingray build. Here is the pic right off the truck. I have a large stack of parts I took off my Rubi 3.6 that I traded in.

With wheels and tires. Wheels are Method 105 beadlocks with 3.5 back space. Tires are 37" BFG KO2's. I used balance beads.

Looks great. I was wondering how those wheels would look with Sting Gray as I was thinking of doing something different from black or bronze.

Leaning towards 1552 Analog HDs in black for a more retro look.

Thanks. I am a little tired of black. I do like the bronze on the Stingray. Actually there is one in town with red Methods with black rings that looks real nice.

Installed the KC lights. I set the light where I wanted it. I used one existing hole and drilled another. I used the nut clips and bolts from end caps I removed. I had some 2" angle iron from another project laying around. I used 6" length. Very easy and right where I want them. They are wired to aux. switch.

Tuffy Security box and Roto Pax 1.75 gallon jug. Easy install and should secure your items with top off.

Next up was the fox 2.5's off my trade in. I also installed the Anti Rock sways front and rear. These shocks are from Accutune. They have great service and set them up with your specs. Highly recommended. These shocks are 28.5 extended and 17.34" collapsed front and 28.6 extended, 17.43 collapsed rear so I will not need a driveshaft. The Anti Rock sways are great also. Very nice ride on and off the road.
Getting ready for 2.5 MC Gamechanger.

Lift is done. Just finished setting toe and centering wheel. Shock eye to eye at full bottom, metal to metal is, front 18" and rear 19". Only tire rub is very little in front. 37 BFG KO2's, Method beadlocks and 3.5 back spacing. Shocks are 28.5 extended and just over 18 collapsed. Do not have to use new driveshaft with this length.

Cut the closeout panel to fit around the winch. Made it look more finished. Just used a angle grinder with a 80 grit disk. Also installed the Steer Smart sector brace. Had to trim a small piece that the 392 and diesel have for fitment. The instructions state this but check your before cutting. You might not have to cut it. When starting the new bolts it helps to use a couple of the old bolts first to align up the holes. The original bolts have guides. As a side note my sector shaft nut was just about hand tight at best. Scary. I will be re-torqueing/checking, everything with upcoming RPM tie rod/ drag link install.

Installed the tie rod and draglink today, along with the Fox ats from my last jeep. Nothing wrong just preventive for the 37's. Same set-up on my last jeep except RPM instead of Apex. Only difference between the two is washers. I like these better. Found a 10 percent off discount code (JKGG) that made the choice. Both are local ish.
Through install one of the tie rod nuts was barely snug the other tight. Draglink at knuckle was not tight at all. At this point I checked the ball joints as well. Three of the four were loose. One was very loose. In all my years of working on this stuff I have never seen this. Does not instill much confidence. All of these had paint marks . Check your nuts.
Here are some pics.

Thank you. So far I love the One Touch. A little more noise than the hard top but not as bad as a soft top. My last jeep i had a hard top, softop and a sunrider. This top takes the place of all three very nicely. Kids and dog love it too. I do keep my jeep garaged. We also get very little rain so Im not sure how it would do there.

Our season is just starting here. Temps are dipping into low 90's maybe even upper 80's. Been getting ready for it.
One thing I have been looking for was a muffler skid. This is one of the few mufflers I actually like and will probably not change. Love the stealth mode for the neighborhood. With that in mind I do seem to scrape my muffler once in a while and this one hangs down a little more. I looked at 392 specific skids. Dang. They seem to be made of gold. Prices are really just to much. So I looked for a inexpensive model for a standard JL knowing I would be modding/cutting it. Found one at CJ Offroad for 152.95. Again, I fully expected to have to cut it up and space it. The skid showed up in a few days. It is very heavy and looks to be well made. After a few trial fits, I had to make one cut for lower exhaust tip on driver side and spaced the front 1/2 inch and rear just over 1". My cut is very rude and ugly but you just don't see it. You can take your time and make a clean cut out. It is heavy gauge metal though. I am happy with the end results. It cleans up the area and looks better as well.
