Has anyone actually upgraded their speakers, specifically the front dash and knee ones?? The sound is pretty good for a stock system, but I'm wondering if there are options that would improve the sound quality. I realize it's a Jeep, and that the speaker placement is not ideal... but I enjoy high quality music. :)

I spoke with a Kicker rep and they (along with other big names like JBL, JVC, Kenwood, ect.) aren't big fans, of the JLs because it's "a bitch" to get speakers installed in the areas where the stock speakers are.

With that said, I'm interested in seeing the experiences of other 392 owners too.

I’ve done upgrades in several of my previous JK’s. Easy peasey. When I got my first JL in ‘18… I started the process and found out’ nope, not this time” the hard way. Ain’t no fun.

We installed DS18 Soundbar and kick panel speakers the other day. Waiting on adaptor plate for dash speakers and rear cargo panels to replace the Alpine subs with 10's on each side.
