I have a 2024 and I replaced my battery and now my steering wheel rear buttons on both sides and the buttons on the front left side don't work. The cruise control buttons on the front right side work fine. The steering wheel heater also won't stay on.

I've tried resetting the radio by holding down the power button and also by the settings menu. I've tried disconnecting the battery for a couple hours. I've tried honking the horn. I've tried turning the steering wheel hard left then hard right and then back to the center. These are all suggestions by Google searches and none of them worked. I also hooked up my scanner and it's not showing any codes or stored codes.

Any ideas before I take it into the dealer? That was Google's last suggestion. Something about them having to reset the SCCM module.

Thanks in advance!

Strange🍿go for a drive if you haven’t already done so

I've actually driven it several times and each time I hope it starts working 🤞

So far it hasn't worked. I posted this on another forum and their conclusion is a bad clock spring but I can't see how that would randomly happen. They also suggested it may be blown fuses. I'll check those out tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I had other strange issues after disconnecting battery for a period of time. My issues were not much information available on the main screen, ac temperatures not displaying, and radio not showing all available functions available. They were slowly restored after several drive cycles but your issues are different and dont appear to be fixing themselves. I would drive it for as long as I could stand it before taking it to the dealer.

I would check fuses first. I would then check all the connections around the battery including all the grounds right next to it.

My thought was I would set an appointment for two weeks from now and then if it fixes itself I would cancel the appointment. I drive it almost everyday.

I'll check the fuses a little later today. I ordered one of those fuse testers from Amazon that will be here this afternoon. Good call on checking grounds. I will definitely do this too.

Thanks you guys!
