Thought I’d share a few pics of my Silver Zynith 392 that just landed at AEV. I’ve had a challenging time finding pictures of this color online, so hopefully this helps anyone who is waiting on their order or undecided on this color. Gloomy day here in MI; will be curious to see what it looks like in the sunlight.

My build with AEV will include a black painted grille…I’ll update with pics once complete so you guys can see that configuration as well.

Welcome, @avery ! Congrats!
Can't wait to see the build pics!

going full JL370? I made the mistake of taking delivery of mine first and now I don't want to hand it over for AEV to work their magic
That’s the plan! I figured that would be the case for me too, so I opted for the slightly longer wait haha.

That looks awesome now and I’m sure it’ll look awesome after AEV does their magic! 👍 Wish I could get the same work done on mine as well.

Thanks! They make some awesome stuff. I've enjoyed both the turnkey vehicles and their standalone mods over the years

Got an update that installation & painting will start Monday; super excited.

Stopped into the warehouse to see it stock for the last time and was met with great hospitality (nothing but good things to say about the process thus far). Also the first time hearing the exhaust note in person…quite mental!😮

So far, only the headrest has been stitched and it seems to be a perfect match. Can’t wait for the rest to be completed and to finally get behind the wheel of a 392!

Was told today that the longest part of the process at the moment is just waiting in line to get built. Beyond that, It'll be up on the lift for a day or two, followed by bumpers and interior details, then a quick on road test to make sure everything is calibrated. Sill would be without it for 2-3 weeks when its all said and done I'm guessing, which isn't too fun if you're enjoying it now!

Glad to hear it! Seems like it will be a great step up over the V6 JL370 from what I've read from your posts + others🙏

@avery Perhaps this is unfair to ask of you rather than AEV directly, but what are they saying their lead time is for JL370 conversion?

Specifically
1. How long from when you told them you wanted to do it did you ship it to them?
2. How long does it take for them to complete the uplift?

Thanks!

Here's my experience:
- 11/08/21 Base 392 ordered through an AEV authorized Jeep dealer; only option was integrated off road trail camera
- While in line for production, I picked all my options for the AEV build
- 01/31/22 Build sheet and window sticker became available
- 02/07/22 Received word that the 392 shipped and I finalized my options with the dealer + AEV's dealer rep
- 02/17/22 official AEV window sticker generated and build # assigned
- 02/28/22 AEV build beginning with an estimated completion date within 2 weeks

The longest part of the process was obviously waiting for the base 392 to get built. Once complete and shipped, the turnaround time is pretty quick (2 weeks from start of conversion). I'm guessing that if you already have a 392 and want AEV to complete a conversion, they wouldn't want you to ship it to them until they believe they can start the build within a few business days of its arrival.

I'll update if it ends up being quicker or longer than expected(y)

Do they ship it directly from the factory to AEV or does it go to the dealership first, then gets shipped to AEV?

Directly from the factory(y)

Shipped from Jeep production facility directly to the local dealer that AEV has an arrangement with, then taken over to AEV facility. Once built in this process, it is shipped to your dealer from AEV. So you pay shipping twice, unfortunately. Once to Jeep and once to AEV.
