Say Goodbye to the 2022 392

Glad i put my order in for my Sarge Green April 11th, now the hard part of waiting.

Just picked up a 2022 392 Wrangler last week and crazy thing is local dealer had two of them. I lucked out! They still have one in the showroom but won’t last long.

I was going to wait, but just got an order in on Wednesday. Have a VON, but no VIN yet.

Really? I got both VIN and VON at the same time. I was just shocked I got them the next day from ordering one.
Hopefully you get a VIN soon.

Yeah the same day, that’s nice! I lucked out and dealer had TWO in the showroom both loaded.

Yep, edited my post above. The email from my dealer said I should have one in a few days.

Tried to order the XR in Snazz back in late February and told both XR and color unavailable. Then drug my feet on a non-XR and got busy. Passed on a Dealer available white XR, tried to get my head wrapped around the White after driving it, but couldn’t get there.. Then got back into the thinking mode hoping the XR would come back around, then finally 4/22 pulled the trigger and ordered Firecracker Red and wow, glad I did. A week later, order bank closed!o_O

The Firecracker Red looks awesome on the 392's. Glad you got your order in. I considered red since I like the bright colors, but thought it might be a cop magnet. Every drive in the 392 is just plain EPIC! Every drive is an event. There is excitement around it........Kids are like, "Are we taking the Jeep?" Just something special about riding around in a 5000 lb tank that drives like a go-kart on steroids. You'll not be disappointed.

Great color pic! That's the color I ordered. My Dodge Ram is red. I guess I have a thing for red.

2023 order banks will probably open up in the fall. Their is no way that Stellantis spent big development expenses on a short 2-year model run of the 392 Wrangler. Don't forget that next year is also the 20th anniversary of the Rubicon. It's most likely the 392 is on the same timeline as the V8 Challenger.

Lol this is spot on! I’ve been pulled over only in red vehicles. Figured a red 392 would not be a prudent choice given the nature of the beast, but it’s a great color.

Enjoy the wait! You may want to order parts you want now as I’m seeing prices go up already.

It was only 4 years ago there was only 1 engine choice in a wrangler. Now there is 4 or 5. I think they will do what make financial sense to them and allows them to conform to the EPA standards for 2023…. It might be V8s, it might be turbo i6s.

The first thing I'll do once I get my 392 is schedule to have 35 inch tires and the Rock Slide Engineering steps installed at 4wheel parts. This is the third Jeep that will have the power steps. I highly recommend them. They were made for Jeeps.
We have them on the 2 dr. Rubicon.

I spent too much time on AEVs site today. I’m going to force myself to wait until we see what happens in ‘23. If for some reason there’s no 392 (I believe there will be one still though), I’m going to seriously consider sending to them.

I thought the new hurricane was to be the last gas powered engine as they want to be all electric/hybrid by 2030. I think Maybe the 392 is finished. However the new anniversary will be better in most regards as was the JLU/JKU. turbo lag, doesnt sound as nice, etc, etc. Their giving people a last option @ the 392, Maybe?
