I remember selling them brand new. Half the time I was telling customers why the price was so much more they didn't understand. People who understood enjoyed the crap out of them. Great read thanks for sharing.

I bought mine new in November 2002 from the LA Auto Show, had the only 1 in town for 6 months. It was a little over 30K at the time, my new 392 was around 78K, wish my salary went up as much as the prices.
