Unfortunately the SOT design precludes any fasteners that pass through the roof. Everything must be A-pillar and rear frame/bumper mounted to clear both the roof and the fabric as it bunches up at the back when open.No A-Pillar mounts on the Rhino... give it a look.
(didn't think there were any on the Maximus either but might be wrong on that one...)
I contacted MetalCloak about the progress on the roof rack for 392. They are still working on it, and close to entering production, but no solid dates.I've run into two impediments to my roof rack ambitions on my 392.
1. The hood is obviously not the same as other JL hoods. I suspect Mojave owners have similar fitment issues.
2. I have the Sky One Touch Roof.
I suspect that the Metal Cloak rack will work well when they announce 392 compatibility. Currently: "Model: Does NOT fit on JT Mojave or JL 392 due to a taller cowl/hood and does NOT fit on a JL 4XE due to charge port location."
