Rear tire carrier 35s

Hello everyone! Just put 35s on and went with Ridge Grapplers and the tire is rubbing on steel bumper. I put a reinforcement bracket on the tailgate but it appears I might have to adjust the plastic carrier with the 3rd brake light? Or need to the Redrock tailgate mounted tire carrier.

The Teraflex works well and accommodates the Mopar tailgate reinforcement bracket, can’t speak for red rock.

Yeah going to order the Redrock one to put it higher since I have the reinforcement plate already. Just not going to open the tailgate until product arrives. Thank you and will post pics

On my buddy's Rubicon, the spare 35x12.50r17 Nitto RG fits without touching but I think he said he aired it down under 30 to get a small gap.

Doesn’t work and it’s at 23 psi and still a no go. Will buy the tailgate tire bracket.

The red rock reinforcement bracket and the Redrock tire carrier mount will do the trick up to 37s.

I have the 35 inch Ridge Grapplers on factory 392 wheels. It needed the Teraflex mount, I used the middle position and it is very very close to the bumper but does not touch it. Thats perfect for me so I can keep as much visibility out my rear view mirror as possible.

On our 19 JL we had the Teraflex one and it was good as well. This one works and as long as it’s working we are good

I have the rough country on ours and it works well. I was told it was a little better than some others if you have the back up sensors. Could be complete BS, but that’s what I was told.

I have the Redrock reinforcement plate and tire relocation bracket and does well. Can fit up to a 37 if needed.
