RCV Front Axles

Getting ready to install RCV front axle shafts on my 392. For anyone having done this, is the passenger side shaft one piece? The Passenger RCV shaft replacing it is one piece.

Stock passenger side is 2 pieces

Getting ready to install RCV front axle shafts on my 392. For anyone having done this, is the passenger side shaft one piece? The Passenger RCV shaft replacing it is one piece.

You will have to remove the clip keeping the two shafts together through the flat plate bolted to the axle on passenger side . There are a few videos showing the procedure

RCV axle shafts installed.....I hate C-clips...
Those orange hats are just pressed on....hope they stay in-place....purely cosmetic anyway...

Mine have been on 1.5 years without issue. I do clean them occasionally to keep them looking pretty.
