Found a great deal on half doors close to my house brand new never unboxed. I picked them up and took them straight to paint shop. Question is. There were 6 boxes. I brought the 2 boxes with rear uppers home. Are the front uppers in the boxes with the doors? My jeep was totally full. Can’t imagine I’d have room for 2 more boxes

2 small boxes with one upper each, 2 medium boxes with one half door each, 2 large boxes with half doors and uppers, one set each. That's how mine came packed.

Thank you. I’m good then. The guy I bought them from had never unboxed them. I just looked at one and filled the jeep up. Was starting to rain. Just making sure I wasn’t missing anything

Thank y’all
Dang I'm super jelly! Do you mind if I ask how good of a deal you found? Pretty much anything even approaching "retail" would be a fantastic deal. I am 100% going to be looking for sarge half doors as soon as I get mine, I know it.

Also, what's the process for re-keying? Or do you just not worry about it?

Yes, mine was the same. I do wish it had been 8 boxes. I kept them all for future shipping if needed but I don't think I really need original boxes for the uppers, just for the lowers to protect the paint.

@hardhat, do you plan to get them keyed to match? I would be curious to hear how they work on your Jeep (proximity, blind spot, etc etc) having come from another Jeep.

$4500
Bought Mopar cylinders to re key. Doors have remote entry but not blind spot monitor. I think all I have to do is buy mirrors if I want bsm. Hoping harness is same. These have heated power mirrors but no bsm. Not sure if I will fool with the mirrors.

Locks would be optional, but going to do the rekey. Doesn't look like too big of a deal and would hate to get locked out of vehicle. If battery died, would need to be able to get into jeep to get jump starter. Never had to use the key to open the door as my fob has never failed, but you never know.

Mopar 68384449AB Door Lock Cylinder for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT

Mopar Mirror with Blind Spot Detection for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT - Pair

I'll keep you posted on results. I should have them back from paint shop by end of next week they told me.

That is awesome @hardhat! :)(y)
Just curious what is a paint job for half doors running?
I have removed my half door mirrors and handles when they went out to get PPF and I am almost positive that the connector is universal between different mirror trim levels, I watched a guy taking them off his Sport (on YouTube) and the clip looked the exact same as mine. The proximity sensor I would hazard to guess is universal also, so I think that might work based on you vehicle recognizing the fob near the vehicle. On the door handle wire there is only a red and black wire (I think that just operates the exterior button and lock.) I think the “brains” might be inside the vehicle, but that is just a wild guess.

In my case I kept my 6 boxes to store the doors in for the 9 months (winter🥶)they are not on the Jeep. The boxes are actually very well designed to protect the doors and it saves me a bunch of space in my garage (I keep them in my basement) plus if you ever sell or ship them then the boxes are very useful.

I'll let you know. The shop is close to my house and they are pricing the paint and will let me know the cost. I'm hoping $500-$800. They told me they would not be very expensive and should have it done by next week.
