Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the maintenance section, but this video I found is one of the more clear and concise videos on the problems associated with the 6.4L 392 Hemi engine. Not a particularly long video, but touches on the main points. For me, three main takeaways are 1) these engines should not be boosted with the stock pistons and 2) to help avoid problems change your oil every 3,000 miles, which is half of what the owners manual recommends. 3) These engines apparently start seeing big trouble around 75,000 - 120,000 miles if problems like bad lifters aren’t diagnosed early and fixed.
