Not sure of the height you're looking for, but which power steps are you considering?

I can't give you an accurate measurement, because I've already lifted my Jeep and have 37's on it. However, one other powered step to consider is the Rock Slide Engineering Step Slider's. I installed them on my Jeep and the step drops down to a perfect height for me. The step drops down approximately half way for my application.

RSE are awesome I have them on as well.
I noticed some issues up in Yankee states with their weather but down south in warmer climates I’ve never had an issue. To correct any issues (step getting stuck down) I just reset the fuse. I WD40 them once a month.

I have a stock 2022 392 (non-XR) with 33" tiress.
From the ground to the inside front doorsill is 26".
From the ground to the step of my Amp Research Powerstep XL steps is 13", exactly halfway up, which is perfect for my 5'2' wife!

I have a 2.5 inch RockKrawler lift on 37s with RSE steps…. Right at 30inches to top of door sill. The step is 15inches when down

Does this look the right amount of drop for Amp Research XL (77132-01A) steps on 2023 XR?
I thought step would drop lower?
I didn't install the steps, do they have adjustable drop length?

Ad says stepping surface is 13" down measured from sill plate.
