Yep. Live just about 20 miles from Pismo Beach. Went to the dunes today for the first time with the 392. Found low range to low and would hit rev limiter, went to high auto with off road plus and flew up any thig I tried, great fun. Did seem to have some lag in the throttle when trying to go full blast from a stop,

I know the area well! Used to stay in Santa Maria every time I visited my grandma in Grover Beach. Still haven't ever driven on the dunes though - def wanna do this as soon as I get mine! I heard they might close the dunes at some point, what's the story with that?

There has been talk of this for years, no clear answer yet. The dunes bring in a lot of money into the area and money does tend to talk loudly. Much of the local economy is dependent on that money so we just need to wait and see which way the wind blows.
