Overland/Camping/Tailgating Builds

My wife went to an off-roading class for ladies last weekend and is now all in on Overlanding lol. We live in Florida so we're not exactly exploring remote mountains around here. But the idea of building out the trunk space does seem like it'd be useful for us. A fridge and a kitchen would be nice for a day at the beach or a day tailgating. Something like a trailer would be complete overkill for us. I'm thinking like a fridge/kitchen setup. I don't use the cargo space for anything right now so might as well do something like this. We may go camping a few times a year but I'm not looking at a RTT for that. So for the guys that do this regularly, what are some of the better kits available? I've seen the Goose Gear kitchen setup. American Adventure Lab (I think they post here?) has some really nice stuff too. Any others that I should be looking at?

Also, I'm a big ARB fan so I want their Zero fridge but I've seen a few things that make me question it fitting. Anyone has experience with it? Or just stick with the classic? Not removing either back seat.

Also, I'm a big ARB fan so I want their Zero fridge but I've seen a few things that make me question it fitting. Anyone has experience with it? Or just stick with the classic? Not removing either back seat.

For the fridge fitting, take a deep look into the options that AAL has on their website. I think they address fitment of that cooler, I have a Dometic.

Yea seems like Demotic is a little shorter so I've seen a few kits say it works better. I think it was Goose Gear that said the JLU doesn't have as much room as the JKU but the passenger side side has more room? I was confused by that.

I have no knowledge of JKs but I believe the rear seats are reclined more in the JL than JK. The floor space may be similar but with the seats leaning back farther taller items like a fridge don't have as much room.

They’re referring to the depth that you lose on the driver side due to the latching mechanism in the tailgate. Also worth noting that you lose a little width on the passenger side due to the bulge created by the subwoofer.
