Ordering a Jeep 392

Hi I am just now starting the process of ordering a wrangler 392 and it has my full of suspense. Went to my nearest dealer today ready to put down a deposit and walked out with nothing. Sales guy told me they needed to wait to get there allocation first. He was telling me they aren't sure what jeep is going to let them order and wont be able to tell me until Monday. He is also acting like jeep might not offer the 392 for 2022. Did i miss my chance to order a 392? Should i contact a different dealer? Any advice on ordering a jeep would be apricated. TIA

This must be frustrating. Let us know what you are told on Monday. There are rumors Jeep may stop production of 392s, but you know how the internet is. I won't believe it until Jeep comes out and makes an official announcement.

Ugh! I sure hope not. Tough to say with Pugeot driving the bus and new CAFE standards. I guess I'd be surprised since 392s are selling so well and there is obvious demand. I picked mine up in May and my dealership told me the same thing - not allowed to take any new special orders and a wait list for the few that come in via dealer requisition. From everything I’ve read/heard there will be 22’s and order banks open October 5th. There are dealers out there that still have allocations so you should be able to snag a ‘21 if you want to.
