23 JTR, 24 Power Wagon, 88 YJ, SPF Cobra, JL Moab On Order
I just ordered an Anvil Moab 392. I am really looking forward to this Jeep. I am not new Jeep. I still have an '88 YJ that I purchased new. I had a new 2014 JK 2 door, that I sold to purchase a 23 JTR. I will be trading in the JTR on the Moab. The Moab will be a daily driver. I've always wanted a V8 Wrangler, but pricewise, they became too far out of reach. With the new pricing structure, I am onboard. I got a great deal at Koon's in VA. $8K off of MSRP with a Tread Lightly affiliate.

I am not wild about painted fenders on Wranglers/Gladiators, so for me, the Moab is a plus in that department. I am also not wild about the paint match top, but I'll live with it. However, being older and retired, the interior will suit me well, as will the power.

I am looking forward to learning more about the 392 Wrangler from you folks here.

Hi Rob! You’re going to love the 392! Post a pic of the 392 and YJ when it’s delivered. Have fun.

Congrats on the order and welcome to the forum! Any estimate for delivery?

Here is pic of the 88 YJ from a few years ago. I have owned it since new and currently the old YJ has a bit more than 250,000 miles. Rebuilt the engine (4.2L 258 CI) in '96 or '97 at 140,000 miles and added the Mopar MPFI kit that had just become available.
The YJ is mostly stock except for a Tuffy center console, a radio, speakers, and antenna (did not have a radio from the factory), Mopar MPFI, factory front snowplow springs, and a steel storage box in the rear. I also added '87 YJ outside mirrors and Mopar YJ tow hooks. The YJ does have the dealer installed A/C kit that still works! Not a lot of stuff for 38 years....

I will most certainly be posting pics of the new MOAB when it arrives.

No estimate for delivery yet. I completed the order on Saturday (1/10), and it has not shown up in the Jeep tracker yet.

Beautiful YJ. The YJ was the first time I saw a bunch of Jeeps on a dealer lot. There were 5 YJs, all in different colors. If I had what they were asking I would have ran away with one. 🤣

I hear ya! I was 33 back then and purchasing the YJ was a stretch financially. The YJ was my only vehicle, and it was subjected to the NJ commuter wars for 4 years before being retired. 140,000 miles had taken its toll on the poor YJ. I waited a couple of years after that before yanking the motor and getting it rebuilt.

Yeah, the YJ was a huge bump in price. But it was worth it. I actually stopped because I couldn’t tell what it was. At fi st I thought that Jeep was trying to modernize the look. Then I looked inside. Wow!!! What a leap. I loved it. As a new Air Force pilot it was out of my price range. They paid us in chickens and cheese back then. 🤣Wonderful Jeep and wonderful memories. You can’t ever let that one go. The 392 is going to be amazing but will somehow show respect to the YJ.

Hey congrats! I'm picking up my Moab 392 this afternoon. They build and ship pretty quick so you'll be in for a great time!
Picccccccccssssss please! So that I can live vicariously through you! Congratulations!!! Enjoy!!!

Side note: Remember when someone on the block would get a new car and everyone would come by to look at it? I miss that.

Hey guys Moab 392 is FINALLY in the driveway.

Picked it up during a crazy snow storm - very fitting lol.

Pictures do not do these 392's justice... they are a BEAST in person.

Congrats!

What’s the best website to track an order on? I tracked my 20A on jeepsonorder.com but that page doesn’t exist anymore. It was pretty cool. It showed a picture of the Jeep and what stage it was in.

The order finally showed up in the tracker on the 16th or 17th. The dealer sent me some information on the order which says a shipping date of 2/9/26. The Jeep tracker currently has the Moab listed as scheduled for production or D1.

The Jeep tracker is here: https://www.jeep.com/trackyourorder.html#/landing
You will need to use the VON (vehicle order number) from your order to get the information.

The window sticker became available today! The tracker shows still in production. The build sheet became available on 1/30.
The tracker showed mine took 2 week to be built. One week later, it was at the dealer. (Dealer is less than 4 hours drive from Toledo) Tracker never gave me a ship date.
