As you saw earlier in my post about my 392 order, which was back in November. The dealer informed me that it was in final inspection which could take up to two weeks.
The best info I received was a method to track it. Go to jeep.com and toward the bottom of the page, you will see contact. Select that option, you can input your info for live chat, or call their phone number: 877-426-5337. I tried both ways, and it works very well. Actually talked to a live person. They reiterated the status. Mondays and Thursdays are update days. Hope this helps for those of you who have a vin number. If you do not have a vin, they cannot help.

Thank you. I just did the same with the info you provided. jeep.com / contact us / click the box FAQ / and hit the chat button. you need the VON and I gave her the VIN the dealer gave me. So could mine have a VIN but not be in the build status yet??
I had a great chat with the rep and found out my jeep which I understood was ready to ship is still in the accumulation of parts status !! Oh Crap. Now back to the dealer to find out what the deal is.

dealer should have the von number. From what I understand, you are correct about the build status.

Yes, you can have a VIN and not be in the build stage. The VIN is generated at status D, firm schedule VIN assigned. Chat would probably tell you they are gathering parts. Next would be D1 gateline, unit sequenced for production and an estimated shipped date is assigned. Still not being built and dont count on that ship date. Up to this point it has all been paper shuffle. Actual build codes are E,F & G, framing paint and trim. Your dealer can print out the POC with the most current status code. have patience, I counted about 17 codes to a trouble free build.

so are we talking 6 - 8 weeks or longer in your opinion

When did you order? Just my opinion it appears they are ramping up a bit, seeing more builds happening. Most orders arriving now are from Nov - Feb.

order date on jeep was 12/04 I bought it a short while ago out of their allocation, they assigned it as a sold unit just the other day

I ordered mine 11/27/20 I have VON & Vin but still haven’t been given a estimate date. Still shows in D1 status. Will definitely give the chat line a call.

You should be close and might be well past the D or D1. If you have the dealer print out the POC that will give the best info. Good luck.

My order moved into D1 last week(21st), it is getting closer just seems like a long time still. I hope @S&S392 you get your very soon!!!
I am still waiting, it shipped on the 13th. its drop off point is Spokane WA, it got there the 26th and has still not made it
to the dealer. i am really getting frustrated with the entire process. told my salesman please get me a ETA so i can
book a flight there.

I believe I'd just rent a car one way and drive it. By the time you figure getting to and from the airport, and waiting on security, it's almost as fast. Plus you can rent an econobox car just about anytime and drive away at the last minute without needing to book in advance or pay "last minute" pricing.

If it's Dave Smith, they used to have lots on CDA/Spokane. You could pick it up there and save a bit of time driving east on I-90 to Kellogg.

But... if you DO go to Kellogg.... right across from the dealership used to be a small family owned Mexican restaurant..... Casa d'Oro....

Highly recommend.

Bonus points if the kitchen staff are loudly singing along to the Mexican pop tunes on the radio.

We are going to fly up and get it. It's actually cheaper to fly 1 way than to rent a car 1 way. I think the issue is they just got 11 inches of snow. That will slow things down. But you are correct dave smith has a dealership in Coeur d'Alene

As you can see in the attached Ordered Nov 4 2022 - stalled till Feb and then shipped within a 2 week time frame. Third hand information is there was a delay due to switches/chips related to heated seats.

Congrats on your order

Well got the update today!!!! Estimated delivery day is April 6th, a little over three weeks. Now I just need that date to stay somewhat close. I am really excited, even though I do have a bit of a wait.
