392 8 speed swapped jk
Hey Guys,
I don't have a JL 392 but i build my JK to be slightly different from the JL 392. My 2008 Jk has a Dakota Customs 392 8 speed swap. The Jeep and kit have been very reliable. the 392 is a BGE from mopar with the car accessory drive and the 8HP70 is from the Ram . The only issue with the swap have been with the JL fan , ive been through 3 , all have had the plugs fail. Anyways i look forward to seeing what you guys are doing maintenance wise and what performance upgrades are working.

Nice. Brings back a lot of memories building my first jeep with my brother and dad.

Little update on the jeep . Amazon prime day got me lol. I was able to pick up a "ZR1" style hood . Since it was going to be painted i also picked up a new cowl . If you've owned a jeep product the early JK paint wasnt the greatest . the old hood and cowl's clear coat was failing . The new hood completely changed the look of the jeep .
