2019 F-150 Raptor; 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road; 2008 H3 Alpha; 2009 H3T Alpha; 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Islander; 2022 Rubicon 392 on order.
Got a text from my dealer today that Jeep is now not taking orders for ANY beadlock capable wheels. Color me confused, the standard and optional wheels are both beadlock capable and I chose the standard, so what kind of wheels are they going to stick on the 392 now?
Forgive my venting, but they just raised the MSRP, stopped accepting orders on the XR package, Gorilla Glass is apparently slowing production and now they aren't even fulfilling the standard wheels?
Jeep only built roughly 10% of the number of 2021 392's that they had projected, how in the world can they have such supply issues?
I'm sure Jeep will be honorable and put a delete credit on my order for the Beadlock's, right? LMAO
But seriously, if they deliver my 392 with those ugly regular Rubicon wheels and gawd awful Bridgestone tires, I'm going to be pissed. Might as well just deliver it on doughnuts, credit me $2k and let me do their job for them, sourcing wheels and tires commensurate with an $80k 4x4.

You can’t order wheels? Meaning you can order the wheels separately? Or did your dealer say no orders for vehicles with beadlocks?

Enlighten me. What your saying would imply no 392 orders period. They would need to re-advertise and revamp their site if what you’re saying is true.
Bead lock is the standard and what is pictured AND on the window sticker / build sheet.

Jeep is crazy slow at updating anything on their site and specifically the build portion of it. Also, any credit they offer will come no where near the cost of actually putting these together on your own.

In glass half full news - at least you can get your dealer to reply to you. Mine, just never gets back to me … promises to, and just ghosts me every, single time.

When did you order?

Ordered last week.
As to re-advertising, Jeep stopped offering the XR package a couple weeks ago and hasn't changed their website.
My dealer said they aren't offering Beadlock capable wheels on new 392 orders. Whether that means from this point forward until the supply chain corrects, or for the rest of the model year, I don't know.

Well, I guess those of us who already took delivery of our 392XR’s have instant collector cars.

I wouldn’t stress about it. I imagine they’re gonna build the orders they took and they stopped taking orders for vehicles they’re not able to build at this point. One dealer also might have bad info. Keyword “might.” Wait until some of the other dealers chime in.

Manufacturers commit to a product until they don’t. For example, before they pulled Tuscadero, they took orders up until the day before. All those orders that were placed and VIN issued are still being made in Tuscadero even though they got those orders in the day before they pulled the option. Feel me? FCA/Stellantis has always operated like this with their “limited” products.

Your order is in..don’t stress on it until you have to.
