Gas strut is there from the factory. Not sure if that’s the question.FANTASTIC build! Did you modify the rear seats to fold back from the seat or did you just have that gap from the battery being to big? I noticed the gas strut in the picture..
@ameldorf is correct, the gas strut is factory. The gap is from the original group 27 battery being too big and making contact with the bottom of the rear seat frame. Went to the smaller group 24 battery and it now fits… “like a glove”FANTASTIC build!
