Ok forum please do your thing! Would love to get a root cause, I too am getting the Aux Batteries not available battery charging message. New AGM battery in June. Happens after a draw such intense winching or last night airing up tires. Engine on in both occurrences. No warnings but next time I turn Jeep on I get that message and it takes 30 seconds - 1 minute and then the Aux switches are available again. Drove 2.5 hours home, issue persisted. Left battery on charger overnight, problem persisted. Once it came back I noticed starting up the compressor dropped 14.2 volts to 13.4-ish and then it climbed. I disconnected battery and let it sit for a few hours. Reconnected and problem was gone. Compressor dropped voltage from 14,2 to 14.1.

I know most times this is a bad battery, but is this something different?

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

Check your terminals. Even with the Optima battery I am getting corrosion on the negative terminal and I get that message occasionally until I clean the terminal.
Took a look at the terminals and they look OK. wondering if it has something to do with the IBS? I am clearing it now. Did you see corrosion on the terminal itself, or on the cables?

Corrosion on the terminals, parasitic draw, running too many electronics with a high load (DC to DC chargers+ lots of lighting), vehicle not driven often enough, bad alternator, or a bad battery are a few ideas for you.
