Just an fyi for those of you that dont check the firmware update availability on zautos website on a regular basis, there is a new update that just came out. I didnt pay much attention to what it does but good to keep it updated or if you are just using it to calibrate the speedo and not any of the major things it offers then you might not want to deal with doing all the updates, especially if it is not easy to get to.

There is a new setting that can be accessed in the Tazer. The SGW setting. Apparently when the SGW setting is activated (*or deactivated) dealerships cannot 'see' that there's a Tazor installed when they plug in their diagnostic equipment. Your tech won't see it. I'd assume the LIVE Functions will not work when enabled [or disabled].

* There's no verbiage in the latest User Guide that details the SGW setting specifics, so, I don't know if enabling or disabling this setting activates this 'hidden mode' feature for when dealerships have possession of your Jeep.
Until then, I'm going to continue to remove the Tazer prior dealership visits.

And... the update now allows for use of MAC OS to perform the update once again. The capability went away for quite some time but it is back again.
